Information for Presenters
Those who would like to present their work should submit an abstract and/or manuscript on the
E-CReW website (www.ecrew.org.au)
by the 9th October 2009.
We hope to accommodate as many presenters as possible but, due to limited workshop time, not all candidates may be given the opportunity to present. Notification will be provided to candidates by the 9th October 2009.
Program
Presentations will be made on the following topics:
- Developing as an Early Career Researcher
- Conducting research that influences government policy
Other topics by mentors and speakers will be confirmed; check the ecrew.org.au website for updates.
Registration and Scholarships
The cost of the two day workshop, which includes all meals, is $150 (Meals provided include morning and afternoon teas and lunch for two days, plus a conference dinner). Full and partial scholarships to cover the costs of registration are available for up to 40 full-time students from Australia or New Zealand. It is not necessary to give a presentation to qualify for a scholarship. To receive a scholarship and be eligible to attend, all interested participants need to register for the workshop.
Some funds are also available to assist with travel and accommodation costs, particularly for participants with high travel costs. Most attendees will be expected to cover their own accommodation and transport, or arrange support from other sources.
